Studio Time

It always seems to take an eternity to finish up a song in the studio. BUT that’s also where the magic is happening and continuing to unfold, so it’s worth every minute!! I’m finishing up a few songs and one of them my hubby produced and has been born out of our home studio. I still can’t believe I get to say that “our home studio”!?! So cool. Anyway, we are getting closer
and closer to getting this music out… stay tuned!!

Wedding day prep part two: the boots

I grew up listening to Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton and countless other country divas. When I first started talking I also started singing. And I remember the first time I stood on a stage knowing that I could never do anything else.

My first pair of boots were black. The second I put them on and twirled in them I couldn’t wait to wear them on stage one day. Now years later when picking a shoe for my wedding day, cowboy boots wear not only an option, they were the perfect and only choice! I also wanted my bridesmaids to share the same joy that I felt when I got my first pair.

Thanks to my friends over at Durango boots I was able to make this dream happen. I received the most amazing pair of boots! I could sleep next to them, I love them so much. So here is a sneak peak.. Watch my first ever haul!

On the go accessory

File Apr 29, 12 21 05 AMThey say diamonds are a girl’s best friend, and I’m not gonna lie, I really love the one Tim got me, it’s beautiful and perfect. Still, I think that for the working girl, juggling career, health, love life, and social life, there are a couple things fighting for that “best friend” position.  Hats and dry shampoo are at the very least close friends. Haha! Seriously though, what else can make a girl who is traveling, making music, and planning a wedding like a maniac look suddenly polished and put together? I met this black fedora at a cute boutique in East Nashville called Pauli’s Place, and it has been a very good friend to me.
